Overcoming Perfectionism for Helping Professionals

Are you tired of striving for perfection?
Do you avoid vulnerability?
Do you fear rejection?

You are not alone.

Shame, the feeling that something is fundamentally wrong with us and that we deserve to feel small and inadequate, is a universal emotion. When we expect perfection, we are often trying to avoid feeling shame by keeping our performance above reproach.  Through this group, we will learn to live more connected lives of love and belonging with other like-minded individuals in the mental health field.

Using a curriculum created by Brene Brown, PhD, author of The Gifts of Imperfection, this 12-week group will explore topics such as self-worth, perfectionism, and connection and will explore the practice of authenticity, self-compassion, and empathy.
